Terms of supply
Parties and scope
These terms govern every quote, order and delivery between Ventra Labs and the purchaser. They apply together with the Research Use Policy, which is accepted on entry to the site and re-affirmed on every order.
Eligibility
Orders are accepted only from purchasers aged 18 or over who acquire the reagents for laboratory research use. An order may be refused, and further supply may be refused, if the Research Use Policy is not met or if information provided proves inaccurate.
Quotes and orders
Quotes are valid for the period stated on them. Orders may be placed against a quote or directly from the catalogue. An order is accepted when it is confirmed in writing.
Pricing, GST and payment
Prices are in Australian dollars and exclude GST and delivery, both of which are shown separately at checkout. Orders are paid in full before dispatch, in USDT or USDC, for the amount and to the address shown on the order page. No invoice is issued and no credit terms are offered.
Delivery
Orders are delivered tracked, in plain unbranded outer packaging, to the delivery address on the order. Post-office boxes, locked bags and parcel lockers are not accepted. Delivery times are estimates. Risk passes on delivery to that address.
Product documentation
Each order ships with a safety data sheet, and the batch supplied against each line is recorded against the order. The manufacturer's certificate of analysis for that batch is available on request against the order reference. Documentation is retained for the period stated in the Privacy Policy.
Returns and defective product
Units that do not match their certificate of analysis, or arrive damaged, are replaced or credited when reported within the period stated in the final terms. Other returns are not accepted because of the storage requirements of the products.
Liability
To be settled in legal review. Supply is open to individuals as well as organisations, so the Australian Consumer Law falls to be considered as consumer supply and not only business to business.
Compliance and audit
The purchaser keeps records of the use and location of reagents supplied under these terms and provides them on reasonable request.
Termination
There is no account to close. Either party may stop transacting at any time, and orders already accepted are completed or cancelled as agreed at the time.
